I live and work on the Gold Coast in Queensland, (Australia's No. 1 holiday destination). I grew up in Sydney, studied law, politics and history at the Australian National University in Canberra (Australia's capital) and have a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from Bond University (located here on the Gold Coast). I have lived in many places across Australia and also in Scotland, England, and the USA: Six years in Knoxville, Tennessee where my beautiful and talented daughter was born. One day my husband and I intend to retire to Tasmania!

In a previous life, I died at the guillotine during the French Revolution (reason for the migraines in this life!). Hence, all my novels are set in 1700’s England or France, but well before 1789!
